The name
A kick wheel, not a kickoff
In a ceramics studio, the kick wheel is the oldest kind of potter’s wheel. There is no motor: the potter pushes a heavy flywheel with one foot, and a single good kick keeps the wheel head turning long enough to centre the clay and pull up a wall. Everything that follows — the throwing, the trimming, the glaze — starts from that one push. Experienced potters make it look like nothing. It is not nothing; it takes years.
The “fantasy” part is our studio itself. The shelf of pots on the reels is imagined, drawn rather than fired, so One Fantasy Kick is exactly what it sounds like: one kick of a wheel in a studio that exists only on this page. We chose the name because it described what we wanted from a small social casino. The machinery behind a slot is simple enough — weighted symbols, a paytable, a balance — but getting the feel right takes patience. How long the reels turn. How they slow. What a win looks like when it lands. We spent our time on those details rather than on a long list of games.
What we make
One machine on the shelf
Kickwheel Crackle is the only game here, and that is deliberate. Its six symbols are drawn from an imagined studio shelf: the celadon vase at the top of the paytable, then a kiln teapot, a terracotta jug, a tea bowl, a glaze cup and a humble test tile. Crackle glaze — the fine web of lines that forms as a glaze cools faster than the clay beneath it — runs through the whole site as a quiet texture, because it is the mark of a pot that has been through the fire and come out whole.
Everything runs in your browser. There is no account to create and nothing is stored about your play; the coin balance lives only in the open page and returns to 1,000 when you reload. Coins are never sold, and nothing won can be exchanged for money, goods or anything else of value.
